Black Ice: Natural Black Diamond Jewelry
There cannot be light without blackness. Black Ice is our collection of natural black diamond jewelry, inspired by night skies, deep space, nebulas and galaxies. It holds engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings and pendants for anyone who never wanted the expected white stone.
Every black stone in Black Ice is a natural, earth-mined diamond. Its color is enhanced, and the enhancement is written on its certificate. Each piece is made to order: production takes 10-14 business days, plus shipping. Start with black diamond engagement rings, black and white diamond rings, black diamond wedding bands, earrings (such as the Nereid 1 carat leverback hoops) or pendants. New to black diamonds? Black Ice jewelry: FAQ
What is Black Ice jewelry?
Black Ice is Diana Rafael's collection of natural black diamond jewelry. The name belongs to the collection, not to a type of stone: a "black ice diamond" from us is a natural black diamond set in gold.
Are Black Ice diamonds natural diamonds?
Yes. Every black stone in the collection is a natural, earth-mined diamond, not onyx, glass or another black stone (how they differ). Its color is enhanced, and the enhancement is stated on the certificate that comes with the piece.
Do you make Black Ice rings and wedding bands?
Yes. There are black diamond engagement rings in every shape, from the Kintsugi ring with its black enamel line to the Melusine oval split shank, and bands such as the Gravitational Wave wedding band.
Do black diamonds sparkle?
They shine rather than sparkle. A black diamond is nearly opaque, so light bounces off its polished facets instead of travelling through it, which gives a deep, mirror-like shine. More in do diamonds reflect or refract light?
How long does a Black Ice piece take to make?
Each piece is made to order. Production takes 10-14 business days, plus shipping.
