Round Black Diamond Engagement Rings
The round cut is the classic engagement ring shape. In a black diamond it becomes something else: a dark circle with a mirror-like shine, a full moon in eclipse. Here are our round black diamond engagement rings and the bands that go with them: the Afterglow double halo, the Dark Obsession vintage halo, the Dark Matter three-stone ring, the Stygian vintage ring and the Gravastar black and white ring.
Every black diamond we set is a natural, earth-mined diamond. Its color is enhanced, and that enhancement is written on its certificate. Each ring is made to order in 10-14 business days. See all our black diamond engagement rings and black and white diamond rings, or read our buyer's guide.
Round black diamond engagement rings: FAQ
Is a black diamond the same as black obsidian?
No. Obsidian is volcanic glass, about 5 to 5.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. A black diamond is a diamond, 10 on the same scale. Every black stone in these rings is a natural diamond; the Obsidian Ascendant ring takes only its name from the stone.
What sizes do round black diamond engagement rings come in?
Our center stones run from about 1 carat, as in the Alma Negra cluster ring, to 4.67 carats in the 5.14 carat Gravastar.
Do you make matching black diamond wedding bands?
Yes. The collection includes bands such as Black Light and Darkling, and the Magia Negra set of engagement ring and band. See all black diamond wedding bands.
How long does it take to make a round black diamond ring?
Each ring is made to order. Production takes 10-14 business days, plus shipping.
